• Florida: DBPR Construction Industry public-records extract (state-refreshed ~weekly; we re-pull on a schedule).
• California: CSLB Public Data Portal master file (state-refreshed daily; we re-pull monthly).
• Texas: RCAT voluntary credential roster (no state roofing license exists in Texas).
• Specialty rosters: Metal Roofing Alliance and Tile Roofing Industry Alliance public directories (re-checked quarterly), and businesses' own public materials (labeled "self-described").

Request a correction or removal

If your listing shows outdated license status, a wrong location, or a specialty claim you dispute — or you want your street-level details suppressed — email data@safehomeexperts.com with your license number. We check requests against the official state record and process them within one refresh cycle. Because listings reflect public records, we correct to match the record; we don't edit records to differ from the state's file, but we honor rendering-suppression requests.
